AEQUITA Acquires JTEKT’s European Needle Roller Bearings Business

AEQUITA SE & Co. KGaA, the Munich-based global industrial group, has officially completed the acquisition of JTEKT Corporation’s European needle roller bearing (NRB) business.

The divested unit serves a wide range of customers across the automotive, industrial, and aerospace & defense sectors. With annual revenues exceeding €100 million, the business employs approximately 1,200 people at four production sites located in Germany, France, and the Czech Republic.

The move follows JTEKT’s strategic decision to sharpen its focus on core markets and operations. AEQUITA emerged as the preferred buyer, thanks to its deep industry expertise, proven carve-out capabilities, and clear vision for further growth.

The transaction officially closed on 1 August 2025, marking a significant step in AEQUITA’s continued expansion within the global bearings industry.
